Interesting book, unravelled at a good pace

It's a little slow but I have to say the end caught me off guard.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! It kept me interested from the very beginning. One of the books that I was never bored. I couldnt put it down, and thought about it when I had to.

I really enjoyed this book and the narrators were excellent, I did start to wonder if we'd ever get to hear what was in the letter found early on, it seemed a bit odd to mention it and then ignore it for a good part of the story, I'd started to think the letter was just a plot hole in the story when it was suddenly mentioned, but other than that small niggle it was a fantastic book

Wow this book had me on the edge of my seat for a lot of it. Initially I thought I would be underwhelmed however this book just kept on giving! I loved the slow revealing of everything that was wrong as the impression you get at the start of the book is a relatively content is not happy marriage (kind of). I loved the narration of this book as well! Thoroughly enjoyed this book and looking forward to reading more books by Becca!

I have a much better ending!!! It would totally shock the reader!!! I think the second Mary should retaliate and get revenge!

I took 2 attempts at reading this book and I’m so happy I did. The first few chapters I wasn’t really feeling it, so I stopped. Then I decided to give it another chance and push through. I’m very happy I did. Becca Day does a great job of making me feel like I’m there. I can see, hear, and smell it. I couldn’t put it down!

Interesting book that really distinguishes good and evil. I’d do not recommend this book for anyone who has experienced physical, emotional, or sexual trauma as the plot may be more than they can tolerate. The narrators did a great job on bringing the characters to life.

So unrealistic I couldn’t relate at all. I can’t believe anyone would be that stupid and the baby birth was ridiculous

I really enjoyed this book. Kept a good pace, and had many twists I wasn’t expecting. Took you on a whirlwind of emotions as you followed Mary’s journey.

This was a crazy read right from the beginning. You think you're getting a trad wife living her happy life and within five minutes that's blown to pieces. Kept me guessing as well as obsessively listening.

Love the story line of this book. I enjoyed every second of it. Mystery and full of thrill.

Quite a different type of thriller/mystery with no idea of how it will end.

The premise was interesting but the characters seemed to become caricatures of horror movie tropes by the end, instead of the book saying anything interesting about gender roles. The exploration of what made Cal who he was was only briefly covered and could have been much more interesting and more developed, especially in a time when young men are being radicalised into misogynistic views.I also found it increasingly unrealistic and unconvincing.

Loved this book and loved the narrator. I was drawn in from the very first page. The tension builds and builds as the story goes along. Very enjoyable all the way through!

Interesting and hard to stop listening once the story begins. I did enjoy the surprises that arose. But also found myself mad at the main charter. I really don't want to say more then this. But as a VIP selection, I did enjoy it.
