Slow burn but great story !

Average: like every 90’s American thriller you’ve ever seen, very few shocks and the ending is no surprise. On a positive note, the main character is well written and the dialogue is ok. Unfortunately the narrator uses a childlike voice for the main character which is a little distracting. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are looking for something basic, which requires little attention.

Definitely some great twists and turns - some I definitely did not see coming. Maybe a little slow in some places and I wanted it to get going, but overall a really enjoyable plot and narrated beautifully.

Excellent read and the narration was superb.

Boring and slow, the story they tell in 13 hours, could be completed in 3 hours. Also I’ve never liked the books where people see things being under medication and alcohol. The narrator is telling the story like she is an elderly person talking to a child the whole way.

Riveting read. Lots of twists and turns in the story. Good narration. As my first audio read I enjoyed it very much
