Started watching the silo series on apple tv. Once I found out it was a book series I was obviously gonna have to read it before ai finished the series. The narration is great and I was enthralled with the whole concept from start to finish. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Interesting and a bit disconcerting. If the silos or massive bunkers exist, I can surely see them failing in their purpose. Humanity is determined to fail itself.

The audiobook was easy to listen to and the narration was Great. I became intrigued with the story after watching the TV series and decided to purchase the entire three book series.

Great story, I do recommend it. But a lot of long descriptions of mechanical things which made me impatient and sometimes lose interest.

Really enjoyed both the story and the narration. I’ve been on a sci-fi binge as of late, and this was a welcome change. It’s a great post apocalyptic world story.

Honestly one of my favorite books now! Beautifully written and keeps you wanting more, I can’t wait to listen to the next one.

As usual, the book is better than the show. The show is easier to keep track of all the characters & technical stuff, so do both! Good story, interesting premise, and easy to listen to reader. Interesting that there are so many distopian stories gaining so much traction, while elections seem to indicate folks want more government...

Makes me wish I had Apple TV to watch the series .... but I'll just have to listen to the series here...

I can start by saying this book is a hidden gem! I watched the TV show and it does this book no justice. This was an amazing read! I'm immediately diving into book 2. As was looking for some mental R&R from Dune, this wad a perfect getaway

Great story. The narration was a bit distracting. Especially when he would use a high pitched voice for female characters.

"Wool" is essentially two books intertwined. One is defined by a great premise, opening with a plot twist and twisting several more times as the story progresses. Some events are truly unexpected, not only actions taken but also inactions where a reader plausibly expected actions. The mystery is well built and believable, and each revelation is thought-provoking. The other is defined by the behaviors, thoughts, and actions of the two eventual protagonists. Meant to be smart people by role and narrative, both are driven by a sort of naive selfishness. About two thirds of the book largely follow these characters as they create problems for themselves and others only to wallow in self-pity and imagine an alternate world that requires nothing but positive thinking. If you can handle regularly agreeing with these two as one or the other muses about stupid they are, what bad choices they make, and how things are all their fault, then you'll be able to survive the spans between some truly incredible plot points and ideas that make for a great story -- at least, until the author unceremoniously and rather implausibly wraps it all up in just a few pages, letting the confederacy of dunces have their inevitable win.

Really great listen, I very much enjoyed the narrator and storyline. I started watching the TV series and then found the book. The book beats the series hands down! Looking forward to the next instalment of listening!
