Unabridged Audiobook
I love all of Rebecca Wells’s books and this one didn’t disappoint either. The narrator was just fantastic. Made the whole experience like a movie in my heads. Loved every minute of it.
I was not that impressed. It was an easy read, but I found myself waiting for the book to be over. Each chapter is a story onto itself and most of the stories are told with humor, but I just can't give the book a higher rating.
Humorous and light... easy to listen to. As a "girl raised in the south", could relate to many of the stories (and the way they were told). Rebecca Wells tends to be a little tough on the Catholic Church!
If you like books about gutsy, courageous but fallible Southern women, this book is for you! Add to this a great reader and you have an enjoyable experience that had me both laughing and crying. Please, oh great Ya-Ya Priestess', give me more!
This was an enjoyable book. It wasn't as fabulous as the first two in the series but it is worth renting.
Terrific. Rebecca Wells again shows the ability to make place a character, to make characters real and enduring. IT is fun and funny, and sad and sentimental--all lin a great mix. Real. A beautiful book.
More of a collection of short stories than a novel, but overall it's very good. I enjoyed the narrator of this one. Her voices and accents fit the material and were entertaining.
