Unabridged Audiobook
Thoroughly enjoyed the twists and turns.
Enjoyed this murder mystery & loved the ending. Great writing, great characterisations & lots of secrets revealed. I’ll be looking out for more books by Benedict Brown.
Enjoyed. B Brown cleverly crafted each character into a viable suspect. Loved the ‘past’ story telling of the characters, really added to the ‘ah it’s him/her’ allegiance. The ending - who done it, no way!!!!
This is a fun little murder mystery with twists and turns to the very end. Especially enjoyed the setting.
Dull, unoriginal and couldn't wait for it to be over.
Being very used to this author’s lighthearted 1920s mystery rompings, I am aghast and delighted to read this dark DARK tale. I feel his writing has leaped to an incredibly deeper level. there are loads of personable characters and several unreliable, narrators, tragedy and tension both sensitively and hauntingly unwrapped with enough twists, and turns that I had to race through the audiobook to reach the dramatic ending. There’s a huge nod to Agatha Christie with this work, but it is its very own story as well. Bravo!
Was a bit board
