Struggling to find a solid footing while wrangling intrusive voices, depersonalization, derealization and heartbreak is no simple task. It took 12 personalities (alters) with 12 different perspectives to navigate the complex trauma created by childhood sexual abuse. With each alter living a portion of CarrieAnn's life, maintaining friendships, and keeping her sanity became increasingly difficult.
