Unabridged Audiobook
2.5 stars. Reads more like a middle grade book until the big twist at the end. Trigger warning for unnecessary, graphic animal death.
A quick read, the ending was rushed and the “twist” was a bit random and not much reason was given. The characters weren’t explored much and there felt like there were too many of them. Some things didn’t feel realistic either. WARNING: a dog dies and the description is unnecessarily graphic.
