Peter Marshall is a Presbyterian evangelist and teacher, and the best-selling coauthor of American history narratives The Light and the Glory, From Sea to Shining Sea, and Sounding Forth the Trumpet. His father was the Chaplain of the United States Senate from 1947 until his death in 1949. His mother, Catherine Marshall, authored many best-selling books, including the classic novel Christy, and the biography about Peter's father, A Man Called Peter, that was made into a movie in 1955. Peter lives in Orleans, Massachusetts.
