Scott Thorpe, a resident of Utah, is an electrical engineer with an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He has designed robots and military flight simulators, and has launched five major new products in companies ranging from Silicon Valley start-ups to Intel. He currently is program manager for Soni Innovations, a pre-IPO medical device company.
