Katie Holmes is an independent sports historian. She is a recognised expert in the field of women’s distance running and regularly speaks at conferences and seminars. She was awarded the Sporting Inequities Prize 2022 by British Society of Sports History for outstanding work in an under-researched area. Holmes is a keen runner and is based in Nottingham.
