Joel Klein served as chancellor of the New York City Department of Education from 2002 to 2011. He currently serves as executive vice president at News Corporation and CEO of its education division, Amplify. He was also deputy White House counsel during the Clinton administration and CEO of the U.S. arm of Bertelsmann. Joel lives in New York City with his wife, Nicole Seligman.
