Paul T. Dean, PhD, inherited a love of history from his mother, Marcia, and an interest in soldiers' experiences from his grandfathers who served in World War II. His writing has been published in a variety of print and online sources. He also frequently speaks at community events, including Veterans Day observances and non-profit fundraisers. He is married and has four children, including one Marine.
