George Knapp has served for more than twenty years as an anchor, a chief investigative reporter, and a commentator for KLAS TV, the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas. A six-time Emmy winner, he has earned the AP's Mark Twain Award for News Writing seven times, was twice given the Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting, and was awarded the 1989 UPI Best Individual Achievement by a Reporter for his reporting on the infamous Area 51 military base.
