Felipe B. Larrain is professor of economics at Catholic University of Chile, was director of the Latin American Center of Economics and Social Policies (CLAPES UC), and is currently finance minister of Chile, a post he also held from 2010 to 2014. He has published thirteen books and more than 120 scholarly articles.
