Topchik is the managing partner of SilverStar Enterprises, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in management development, whose clients include AT&T, Honeywell, Disney, Sony Studios, and Oracle. He is a lecturer in the business and management department at UCLA and is the author or coauthor of The Accidental Manager, Managing Workplace Negativity, and The First-Time Manager.
