Medha is the author of Shivaji's bestselling biography, Challenging Destiny. it was also nominated in two categories in Raymond Crossword Book Awards 2017, in popular non-fiction and biography. The bio is now available on audible.com as audible edition. It has been translated in Marathi (Zunz Niyatishi) and Hindi (Niyati ko Chunauti). Her book on the sensational world of pharmaceuticals and medicines with her personal experiences - ‘Prescription of Life’ was launched in 2018. ‘Frontiers - a relentless battle between Aurangzeb and Shivaji’ is her first work of fiction (historical novel) published by Penguin Random House in 2018. It is translated into Marathi, ‘Ranasangram’ and is published by Magsetic Publishing House. Her second historical fiction, 'Life and Death of Sambhaji will be out on July 2021, published by Penguin Random House. Medha is a microbiologist and has worked for food and pharmaceutical companies in marketing as well as business development in countries like Germany, India and the United Arab Emirates. From a young age, she has dabbled in poetry in Marathi and English. Medha has written articles on a variety of subjects for leading newspapers in India as well as in the Gulf. From the year 2000 onward she started studying Mughal Maratha history as she felt passionate about it. More than a hundred books were referred, forts visited, and discussions with historians, weapon experts and other people involved in the subjects continued.
