Sola Mahfouz was born in Kandahar, Afghanistan, and is currently a quantum computing researcher at Tufts University Quantum Information Group. In addition to her work at Tufts, Sola is conducting research with both Angelo Lucia at the Institute of Quantum Information and Matter at CalTech and Nobel Prize winner Frank Wilczek. She is a recipient of the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship at CalTech.
