Playwright Michael O'Brien has dramatized The Blind Assassin. He is the author of Shores of Wonderfor Sunday Showcase, and has also dramatized Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale. In 1996 Michael was nominated for the Governor General's Award for his drama Mad Boy Chronicle.
