Dr. Rev. Ahmondra Mcclendon

Dr. Rev. Ahmondra McClendon, an ordained Interfaith Minister, holds a Master of Social Work Degree from San Francisco State University and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from New York Theological Seminary. With thirty-five + years in human service delivery, she has a unique insight into life.

Although her life is in harmony now, it wasn't always. For many years she existed within The Legacy of Silence, a generational pattern of behavior. Living behind a wall of silence, she was trapped in a world of painful secrets while acting as if everything was okay. Then, realizing that circumstances did not have to determine her future, Dr. Ahmondra changed her thinking. Making herself the priority in life, she transitioned from pain into passion.

A passionate advocate for healing, Dr. Ahmondra has an urgent call to action for Black Women from the African Diaspora. 'For decades, we've been at the forefront of the fight for justice, saving everyone while suffering silently. NO MORE! It is time for 'US TOO' refocus our attention.'

To facilitate change, she created The Original Queens Sacred Community. It is a safe space for 'US TOO' to gather in Sistahood, speak truths, recognize triumphs, and begin generational healing within the new Black Women's liberation movement of 'US TOO.'
