He holds degrees from Stanford University, Fuller Theological Seminary, and a PhD from the University of Durham in England. He has served in a church in Colorado and currently serves as senior pastor of a Presbyterian church in the Midwest. He has written feature articles for Moody magazine, including 'What Muslims Think of America.'
