J. J. Hensley is a former police officer and special agent with the US Secret Service who has drawn upon his experiences in law enforcement and his love of distance running to create a novel full of suspense and insight. He graduated from Penn State University with a BS in administration of justice and earned an MS in criminal justice administration from Columbia Southern University. He is currently a training supervisor with the US Office of Personnel Management. He lives with his wife, daughter, and two dogs near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
