After service with the Welsh Guards, Paul de Zulueta worked in education and personal development and founded Writers for Business. In 2020, he helped with the writing of Peace, War and Whitehall, the memoirs of Field Marshal Lord Guthrie of Craigiebank. He is a contributing editor for the Guards Magazine and has written obituaries for The Times and book reviews for The Spectator. He is the grandson of the author, Daphne du Maurier.'
