Gene Veith is the culture editor of WORLD Magazine and is the executive director of the Cranach Institute at Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He previously served as professor of English at Concordia University Wisconsin, where he had also served as dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. He is the author of 14 books, including Postmodern Times: A Christian Guide to Contemporary Thought and Culture. He has received several awards including Christianity Today‘s book award as one of the top 25 books of 1994, Concordia’s Adult Learning Teacher of theYear in 1993, and Faculty Laureate Award as outstanding faculty member in 1994.
