Susan Stellin is a reporter and frequent contributor to The New York Times, where she worked as an editor for several years. She is the author of How to Travel Practically Anywhere, a travel planning guide, and has a B.A. in political science from Stanford University. In 2014, Stellin and MacIndoe were awarded a fellowship from the Alicia Patterson Foundation for their series “American Exile,” documenting the stories of families divided by deportation. They live in Brooklyn.
