Jill Kalz is the author of more than 50 children's books. Her picture book Farmer Cap (Picture Window Books) was a finalist for a 2008 Minnesota Book Award and the winner of the Reader's Choice Award. Jill works as a children's book editor and lives in a small German town in southern Minnesota. Thanks to her sneaky Bichon, Tuckerbean, she's an expert at finding all sorts of hidden things: chew toys, bones, stuffed chipmunks, peanut butter treats.
