Gale Gordon (1906 1995) was an American actor of stage, radio, television, and film who was known for playing stuffy characters, from military officers to high school principals. He got his first role in radio on the popular "Fibber McGee and Molly "show. He appeared "The Honeymooners", "Our Miss Brooks", the various Lucille Ball sitcoms, and numerous other films and television series. He was at his best when he delivered the slow burn take. He was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 1999.
