Ruth Gordon (Residence St. Paul, MN) is an Associate Professor Emerita, University of Minnesota. She has had a distinguished career in nursing, nursing education, rehabilitation nursing, and nursing management. She has written five textbooks, numerous journal articles, and a monthly newspaper column for the St. Paul Dispatch. She is also the author of It Takes a Dog to Raise a Village: True Stories of Remarkable Canine Vagabonds (Willow Creek Press).
