This is not my normal genre, I was not really a fan. I must be missing something because of other good reviews. It was very hard to get through.

Loved the book -- and loved the narrator even more. I cried when it was over, as I wanted it to keep going. This was terrific, funny, smart, fast-moving, and very well-written -- and yet I think the audio version is probably even better than the written version. A+!

At first it is hard to get into the story since it is mostly correspondence from one character to another. But, once you get into the story it makes sense. The narrator was excellant. She was a master at using different voices. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and the reading

Not my usual kind of book.. but I got hooked and couldn't stop listening!

This was a very interesting book! the characters were well htought out, and as a Seattle transplant I found myself laughing out loud at some of Bernadette's critiques of the city.

Funny, original story with great characters. Takes a little while to get into since most of it is told through correspondence, but all the set up pays off in the end.
