Unabridged Audiobook
Expert narration as usual from Therese Plummer it makes a huge difference when books are read well. These are the precursor books to Robin Carr’s Virgin River series so if you are familiar with them you will recognise some characters and the environment. I preferred this in many ways - there were more interesting plot lines and less detailed descriptions of births which can get a little too much in her Virgin River series. This was studded with interesting characters. Recommended easy listening.
I liked the story line and the narration but not the profanity specially using God's name.
nice easy pace. narrator is great with characters. good story twists
Nice to re-visit a story I read years ago. Robyn’s stories are so relatable, even if a small-town setting isn’t your own experience. Thérèse Plummer is that rare, natural talent - a narrator who can do so many different characters’ voices, while never overacting. You can visualize each person with just her voice! She makes it seem so easy, but it’s not. What a talent!
Another lovely book from the author. Because she always uses the same narrator, there's a familiarity that ties her books together. This series is a just as good as Virgin river
I like the genre as well as the storyline although some of the same themes are used as in the Virgin River series. Very relaxing listen Narrator is, according to me, the best of all those that crossed my path already.
Love the small town close knit community. The author makes you feel like you are a part of the town!
Another enjoyable book!
I really enjoyed this story and plan to read the sequel.
Fun story. Good narrator.
Was easy to follow. Basically life of people in the town. Great narrator.
I really liked this book. The story was fun and very detailed about the characters. She really right so that you can see in town see the people get to know them.
