Unabridged Audiobook
Enjoyed to book as I always like Harlan books. However, the audio was very poor. Narrator would have been fine, but each time he raised his voice an octave to represent another character, or used more expression, the audio became muffled and difficult to understand. Had I not really enjoyed the story, I would have just stopped the listen. It was frustrating and annoying:(
One of my fav authors this was a hair raiser with loads of today's drug scene and life and death icing Of course when a character answers the phone with "articulate" famous from Bolitar series I was fired up for a great read .
I'm a big Harlan fan and did not find this nearly as enjoyable as other works. Sometimes they are downright scary, which I like. This seemed like they were just trying too hard to blend the multiple story lines and characters together.
Great reader and a very good story like only Harlan Coben can write! Always look forward to his books. Wish he would bring back Myron Bolitar sometime soon!
Interesting and very creative. I can't wait for the next book.
Lots of unexpected twists and turns. Sorry when it ended.
Not a bad read, but not great. I was expecting a book full of unanticipated twists, but they just didn’t come. You have to power through until the very end before you get anything completely unexpected. It’s probably worth the payoff, though, as the first 8 hours or so are still mildly entertaining. I also think the premise is a bit ridiculous, I wouldn’t avoid the book just because some things seem implausible.
Disappointed it’s over! Can’t wait for the next book.
Harlan Coben never disappoints. This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. As I listen in my car, I often found myself driving past my house so I could keep listening. Great great book!
