Experience Anna Todd’s million-copy-selling story that started it all.

Tessa goes off to college with a dependable boyfriend waiting at home and her life and career neatly planned out. On her first day on campus, everything shifts when she encounters Hardin. With his disheveled brown locks, cocky British charm, and a canvas of tattoos, he’s a stark departure from her familiar world.

But Hardin’s rudeness borders on cruelty, and Tessa resolves to hate him. At least until they share a charged moment alone—and suddenly, Tessa is questioning everything she’s ever known about herself.

Despite his hot-and-cold attitude, Tessa is drawn to uncover the hidden layers within Hardin. In the midst of her newfound independence and electrifying uncertainty, Tessa’s connection with Hardin feels like the passionate love she’s been looking for. With her carefully laid plans forever disrupted, what comes after?

Yes this was a bit “teenage” for a 51 year old but it brought me back to college in a way . The narration was excellent- best narrator since I’ve started listening to books on tape - I really enjoyed this book - it’s great for driving - I didn’t have to keep track of too many characters lol.

Really enjoyed this book taking me back to my own college days. This story has all the trials and tribulations of young love and becoming an adult. Trying to figure out who you really are and not becoming what everyone wants you to be or who they assume you to be with. Hated the ending until I realized it was a first in a series and I had another book to read to continue the love story

I love the story making me remember how being young and starting to be an adult in college. I have seen the movie and was so different from the book but also loved it (eventhough alot of people hating on it). The narration of Elizabeth for Tessa and the bonus chapter for Hero too. ♾

I saw the movies on Netflix before I even knew about the books. I loved the movies and when I found out there was a whole series.... I had to look into it. The book was soo much more detailed and intense than the movie. So much emotion! I enjoyed the first book so much I immediately go the second one. The narration was great and kept me interested.

It’s a good book. What makes me hooked is the narrator. She reads Tessa’s thoughts and words excellent.

I loved this book. 9 times out of 10 would recommend. There were times where I wanted to jump in and yell at both of the main characters. That's what makes it so intriguing.

The first book that I can honestly say the movie is better. So repetitive and I just can't believe how weak and pathetic Tessa ends up coming accross. I ended up skipping through scenes. Narrator was a good Tessa but the English accent for Harden was woeful or non-existent.

This book had me hooked. I’m a romantic and so desperately wanted Tessa and Harden to get past there troubles. It was raunchy in parts too, I was desperate for Ann Todd to write a sequel!

The story line is great, there are many moments I find myself talking to her and wanting to shake her out of her thoughts. like "woman, have some self respect!" Harden is a great character, very flawed and real. I still cant believe some of the things he does and worse, I can't believe her. the narrator's voice throw me off but after listening for 16 hours, you get used to it. I'm excited to continue the series.

I'm 31 and this book was a bit too 'teen' for me to really appreciate. I found myself rolling my eyes a lot at the writing, but I can understand why it would be a hit for a younger audience.

This book should have been titled before, not after.

One of my absolute favorite books. This story sucks you in and was all I could think about while reading it. They truly make you feel like you know the characters personally and you feel all of their emotions with them.

I love these books and I’m re reading them now since there are more movies out. I do not like the narrator though. I wish it was a man and woman.

This book isn't horrible. Definitely for teen and early 20's. I can not stand Tessa. She is such a push over through the book, I couldn't imagine being so stupid. The end is horrible FYI.
