Unabridged Audiobook
another great one I hope he keeps writing books
one of the most important books of the 21st century
Wonderful follow-up read.
Incredible! Extremely helpful
Petersons strikes again with another dozen ideas to ponder. I’m think 12 Rules For Life flows better and is a bit more user friendly. However, I definitely think this is a great piece of literature too, but it’s a bit more abstract and I feel like sometimes Peterson wanders off into an area the reader will struggle to follow. Definitely worth the listen or read!!
Preferred the first book in the series, but this is no less full of insight
This is a terrific book, the third of Peterson's book I listened to (audio). It is well-researched, deep, and well-narrated by the author. I began with Peterson's Maps of Meaning but had to put it down because it was hard to follow, as the vocabulary is very academic and hard to comprehend. Nevertheless, I knew that the content was profound and switched to his "12 Rules" books because they were written for a more general audience. Now that I've read these (12 Rules), I returned to his Maps of Meaning; they are much easier to follow. These three books are "Keepers", and I intend to review them often. because of the author's profound insight into psychology, mythology, sociology, and neural science and the way he weaves these topics together for a greater understanding of the human condition. Peterson is a top-notch thinker who deserves to be studied.
One of my favourite (and influencial) books of all times. Jordan Peterson is brilliant. Unique!
