Unabridged Audiobook
Excellent; loved it!!
I love listening to David’s books right up until the ending. It’s a little too “Scooby Doo” for me. I’m not a writer, so not sure how he could change it, but it just seems to wrap up quickly to include excruciating detail of the swirling plot. Maybe throw in , “if it wasn’t for you meddling kids and your dog, I could have gotten away with it”...then we’d be complete. I’ll still keep listening.
Great book. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
The book was good but the narration was distracting. It was very stiff and the transitions between characters was halting and clumsy. It really sounded like they were reading a book and didn't have that smooth, comfortable flow that you find in actual spoken conversation.
Good book, but can't stand the girls voice.
Really good read with credible scenarios!!
Not super great
Exciting
this is a great series it's four books the first one is excellent the second one is pretty good the third one is kind of weird but okay don't get turned off by the series because the fourth book ending the series is amazing. this was a great series. I really wish there could be a number five book.
While I do like this book and do not mind at all the strong female lead, it is disappointing that almost every man in this book is a worthless piece of crap, abusive and just an all-around bad person. I'm not too keen on shitting on men just to make women look better. I do want to say that the narrators did an amazing job
Good book, similar to his other series. I didn’t like this one as much as The Memory Man or Will Robbie series, but still a good listen.
I love the "Memory Man" series, so I gave this a try. I thought the story made little sense and was VERY disappointed with the ending. I liked the characters okay, but didn't love them. I like Kyf Brewer and his narration in most books, but not this one. I'm not sure I will listen to more of these books yet, we'll see.
The protagonist was not very compelling and the story was lame. I will pass on the rest of the Atlee Pine series.
Just a fair book. Lots of twists and turns, but a lot of stopping and explaining is required, especially near the end. The female narrator is good. The male narrator needs a few more voices and accents to differentiate between the characters.
A slow read
I thought it was a great book and truly enjoy all his books.
very good book should be made into a movie
An excellent read
Good plot with good character development. I think we will be seeing Atlee in future books.
Not his best book and have read them all.. Need to different narrartors
