I thought it was a little slow at first but by the time we got the story line in view it turned out to be a very good read.

Draws you in completely. Can’t stop listening until the book is done.

Unfamiliar with geographical area, gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Story well told!

This is my first listen for a C. J. Box novel. Its a good story but not too complex. The story was very predictable, but overall enjoyable.

Great story. We love the backdrop of Montana and Yellowstone we live in West Yellowstone and it is like hearing a story of home

Very entertaining

I like the storage, but it had a lot of nasty language that I did not care for And couldn’t recommend it because of that! Storyline was good characters were well portrayed!

Enjoyable and intriguing story of people, animals and people who love animals versus those people who love money. Well written, and well produced. I am looking forward to the next in this series. I haven’t gotten to love the characters in this family.

I was really hoping to like this. So I could start a new series. However, I found it one dimensional and lacked in complexity to provide excitement.

My first C. J. Box book. I thought it was very good. Story kept me interested and I enjoyed the characters. Narration was top notch in my opinion. Looking forward to the next in the series. Definitely recommend.

Super slow start. Entertaining last 1/4

Enjoyable, kinda slow start, however ending was awesome!!!

I have just started reading CJ Box. So far I have really enjoyed them all. I love the storyline and the depth of characters.

Having just vacationed in lower Wyoming. I felt the descriptions spot on and loved the plot. It kept my engaged throughout.

I did not enjoy. The plot was impossible,, for me to get into

It was kind of boring not really a horror story. The build up was slow.

I enjoyed it. hes not the usual hero im used to. hes not a cop or Mr. action but it shows that if you push anyone too far they will do what they have to. I think I'd choose a different narrator though.
