Unabridged Audiobook
Hate to say it but there is nothing captivating about this book. I have enjoyed many of Silva's previous works. I was desperately waiting for the pace to pick up but it just stagnated. The narrator contributes to the lethargy. I had promised myself in the past that I would not order another book with this narrator but decided to give him another chance. Never again.
I have historically enjoyed Daniel Silvas books. This one however had too much political agenda throughout. Not a captivating read.
I have read all of Daniel Silva's book. All are great. This one is NOT up to his exciting standards. The epilog is disturbing as he is trying to cast doubt on the 4 books of the Christian Gospel. He is a great fiction writer, from the start I got the sense he was pushing a narrative. I'd pass on buying this book.
Extremely Boring! Narrator style is also very old-fashioned, sounds like an old movie from 50 years ago!
This was my least favorite book of all of the Gabriel Alon series. I had a hard time listening to the first three quarters of the novel. I'm sure the next ones will be much better. Sorry Daniel...
Worst book by Silva, had a lot trouble to finish 1 Star from me . Love all his outher books!
