Unabridged Audiobook
Finally!!! I've been looking for something that grabbed me like Where the Crawdads Sing. This is the one! If you're tired of all the politically correct/get woke "literature" and just want excellent writing and narration, look no further:) All the characters were fully developed and relevant, as well as just the right amount of detail. I could't wait to listen every single day!
The book was suggested to me by someone who wasn’t a fan of it but thought I might like to try reading it and I must say, while I do love murder mysteries and detective books, I didn’t much care for this one. I only became slightly interested in the story by chapter 39 and by then the book is nearly over.
Loved this story and I didn't not see the twist at the end.
Very dark & heartbreaking. It was recommended by our book club member. Not my usual reads, but finished. Wouldn’t recommend.
This was a heartbreaking, interesting story of children that mimic so many children’s lives in the US, unfortunately. It painted a picture beautifully and brought me to tears twice. The narrator is okay but he would go from talking about one set of characters to another without a pause and it would take a few seconds to understand what just happened. It was annoying
Unexpected ending.
Horrible narration and story line!! Don't waste your time or money!!
Angry, bitter narrative poorly developed. Tedious.
