Unabridged Audiobook
As an artist-painter, I read this book for art and creativity reasons (which it lacks). Still, I was delightfully surprised to discover that it is rooted in the genetics and molecular biology of color, as I am also interested in the natural sciences. The authors go deeply into the physics of light and color, providing us with a solid knowledge of the phenomenon. The book is well-organized, and the narration is clear and well-paced. That said, I recommend this book for a solid foundation about light and color as perceived in the animal kingdom. jkh 2025
