PAMELA COLLOFF is a senior reporter at ProPublica and a writer-at-large at The New York Times Magazine. Prior to joining ProPublica and the Times in 2017, she was an executive editor and staff writer at Texas Monthly. Her work has also appeared in the New Yorker and a number of anthologies. Colloff is a six-time National Magazine Award finalist. In 2013, she earned a National Magazine Award for Feature Writing for 'The Innocent Man.' In 2015, Colloff was nominated for her fifth National Magazine Award, for 'The Witness.' Colloff holds a bachelor's degree in English literature from Brown University and was raised in New York City. She lives in Austin with her husband and their two children.
