A decade ago mothers from around the world contacted Michael Martin. They told him their babies were born blind. They believed a pesticide was at fault. This is the genesis of The Crestfallen Rose. Martin, a former district attorney, is a longtime litigator of environmental poisons that affect people and plants. Michael has litigated many trials involving dangerous products. He earned an English degree from the University of the South, Sewanee, and a law degree from the University of Florida. Martin lives in Lakeland, Florida, with his wife and daughters.
