Kendra Elliot began writing fiction when she participated in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) in 2005. Though she considered herself a romance writer at the time, she found that her heroines kept tripping over dead bodies, and it was then she realized her niche was in romantic suspense. In 2010, her novel Stronger Than Bone (later published as Hidden) was a finalist in the Romance Writers of America s prestigious Golden Heart Awards contest, which led her to her agent and ultimately the publication of her debut novel. In addition to the Golden Heart, she was a Romantic Times Top Pick in March 2013. A lifelong native of the Pacific Northwest, Elliot makes her home with her husband, three children, two cats, and a Pomeranian.
