Robert H. Zieger (1938-2013) was Distinguished Professor of History Emeritus at the University of Florida, where he had taught since 1986. Zieger wrote or edited more than a dozen books, including The CIO, 1935-1955 and For Jobs and Freedom: Race and Labor in America since 1865.
