Niven Busch (1903-1991), who contributed 'The Fellowship of the World' to NPR's original This I Believe series in the 1950s, was an American novelist and screenwriter of such works as the acclaimed film The Postman Always Rings Twice. His novels include Duel in the Sun, The Hat Merchant, and California Street. At the age of 85, Busch made his acting debut with a small part in The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
