Very difficult read/listen. Too many voices, too vague of plot and too many unanswered questions. Weak book

I highly recommend this book ! I read constantly but I admit I was a bit shocked by the ending!

The story is interesting, but the writing is horrible. Like a high school creative writing project turned up to the 100th degree. I have to question the desire to write a book full of so much over the top opulence in this day and age, set in Russia no less. I didn’t like Reese Witherspoon’s narration, but the rest of the cast was great.

The book kept the twists and turns coming up until the last minute. Highly recommend and hope more books come out with these two authors collaborating.

Loved this book. Lots of twists and turns.Interesting plot-which was well researched .

Beginning was slow. When the story picked up, I was hooked! I was trying to figure things out and was wrong several times. I liked the ending even though it wasn’t what I wanted for the characters. There were a few loose ends, but overall, I felt things wrapped up in a satisfying way. The narration was great. I’d recommend the book with the warning that it does have a drawn out start.

Outstanding plot and narration. Pulled me through the tough parts of a 35 drive.

Took me a couple times to get through it but it’s a fairly good read

Slower start for me but then about an hour in I was hooked. Recommend reading within a week so you can remember small details in previous chapters. Really well done.

Loved the story! Narrator - Reese Witherspoon - seemed like I was a 5th grader having a book read to me. No disrespect to Ms. Witherspoon - there are other narrators I prefer.
