Unabridged Audiobook
This book is insightful and is well written about Donald Trump. His sole motivation is revenge against his opponents and anyone he perceives as an enemy. This includes Democrats, prosecutors, legitimate government agencies. He wants his enemies locked up and now he’s calling for their deaths when he calls them traitors. This is a dark period in our history. History tends to repeat itself, however, this is the closest we’ve ever been to autocracy.
The only book I'll need to make sense of the 2024 election versus the three necessary in '16: Revolt of the Public (gurri), Coming Apart (murray), Hillbilly Elegy (vance). The pace of the story lends itself to audio - my preferred format for all reading - and is expertly narrated. Importantly, Isenstadt does well to not betray his unbiased fly on the wall perspective.
