Unabridged Audiobook
Authentic and honest ! My favorite kind of Book! I loved it and I never really watched Christina much . She was a great narrator and her life experience is Worth the read!
Loved it! She is a bad ass and a truth teller.
Great read!
So a great read and so relatable during some parts. So sad that she never felt good enough or pretty enough she is such a gorgeous woman and an even beautifully minded person as a whole! Would definitely recommend
4.5/5
Listening to Christina read her words made them so much more powerful.
Interesting, funny, poignant.
I have never really been a "Married" or Christina fan but I have followed news reports about her and had curiosity. The book hit a home run in many respects. Christina is so brave and courageous. And so talented. The book is a marvel not only for her fans but for those who are not but have curiosity. Lots of inside gossip and stories about people who have been involved with her. A good and entertaining read. I wish her the very best in dealing with her significant health issues which are a major part of her story.
Really enjoyed it . Same time line as myself. I loved her raw honestly! That's the only way to go. She gets it 100. Heartbreaking but very inspiring ️️️️️
Very good.
Loved it
Kiki fan for lifeeeee
just what a memoir should be. sharing the ups and downs from her own perspective. no sensationalizing, throwing people under the bus, gossip etc. just raw emotion and a story that helps us see who she is, how she got there and what she would like people to know.
I wanted to like this book so badly since I saw Christina's performance in Dead to Me! I truly enjoyed hearing all about her life from childhood to present day. What I didn't like were the same struggles in her life being repeated over and over again in different chapters. It jumped around and would have been better being in chronological order. The book needed better editing. Lastly, as much as I love having the author narrate their own biographies, I struggled with Christina opening up and crying over some very difficult times and in the next breath, she's is back to her normal voice. Again, I think an editing issue from the producer of the taping.
This is a deep, meaningful memoir by an intelligent and thoughtful person who is much more than the talented, hilarious actor I knew her to be. Loved the book and grateful to hear her story in her own voice.
I think many things. As we all do. And "CA" has her thoughts on raw display for anyone that thinks they ever wanted to see them closer and more authentically than through their Rose tinted lense - an accurate portrait of someone who is who they are, sharing how they view themselves is an inside-outward perspective many don't often get to participate in viewing without being permitted in. Thanks for the brave intimacy.
