Abridged Audiobook
A great uplifting book to read or listen to. It makes you feel much stronger after learning about his outlook on life. A definite learning experience for all.
I thought this was going to be an interesting biography of MJF. As it turns out, it is a follow up to a previous book. This book addresses his advocacy for research for Parkinson's Disease. He makes his liberal views quite clear with a one sided review of why stem cell research is the only way to go. It is not quite balanced. But it does provide insight into one man's battle against a crippling disease. Sometimes interesting.
Fabulous book. Very interesting to learn more about the diagnosis, how it was finally made, and the results. Until this book, I really knew very little about the diagnosis of PD and even little about how he dealt with it. A great read.
He reads too fast and is very hard to understand. Had to concentrate too much to be driving in rush hour traffic.
I loved this story. It was a bit difficult to follow Michael J. Fox as the narrator and there was a bit of distracting paper shuffling in the background. Also the story was a bit disjointed at times, but he is such an incredible man with an amazing attitude.
I have always been a fan of michael j fox through his years as an actor, but this book gave me a look into the man and his life with parkinson. i learned a lot and enjoyed the read.
You don't want to listen to this audiobook, but go buy the book and read it! I love MJ Fox, but you can't understand his speech.. it is awful.
