the author stresses that top down, big government solutions won't work. Then suggest top down projects will work, while giving specific examples of how these projects will loose huge amounts of money. (see his examples of high speed rail for one example). the Author wants to tax the roads to social engineer a curbing of miles d riven. And outright fails to acknowledge that tax payers pay for those roads. deficit spending and taxes pay for those roads. Not government. Government is not the source of that money. Deficit spending, taxes and government are the problem. Not solution. And his not understanding of bank reposition of real estate is disingenuous. it's not as easy as turning keys back to the bank and walking away. Bailing out banks and debtor prison isn't a solution either.
