Unabridged Audiobook
Lovedthe book "Midwife's Revolt" except for two sticking points. The title is not right for the book. The book. Onto yes to refer to women's labour.as a "sickness". Although the author may not be aware, she has a very feminist hand. So these slips were a little nails on a chalkboard. But the book delivers a close up view of the women of the American Revolution in a similar but more I depth way than Diana Galbadon. narration was excellent
I think the book could of been shorter because I got lost and a little bored about 3/4 in. Up until there I loved it. I found myself getting lost with so many names to remember. I even went back and reread 7 chapters thinking I must of not paid attention enough but didn’t help. I’m still going to read #2 in this trilogy because I’m so curious about the character Eliza and what becomes of her !!
